Rebecca Stoner
Board President
Beckie Stoner is CASL’s Board President. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
As a Tax Manager with Kerkering, Barberio & Co. in Sarasota, Beckie manages the firm’s nonprofit tax clients. Beckie has been working with CASL since 1999.
Harold Hedley
Board Vice President
Dr. Hal Hedley has been a high school principal, Guardian ad Litem Circuit Director, and Child Protection Center CEO. He lives with his wife Luan and son Tim in Nokomis. Hal is honored to be a Board Member and officer of CASL.
Steve Armstrong
Business Owner
Steve is a native of Sarasota and has been a local Sarasota business owner for over 35 years. Steve has held several directorships with CASL nonprofit affiliate NAMI-Sarasota including Board President. He and his wife of 50 years, Barbara, have two children and three grandchildren.
Daleen O’Dell
Family Member Representative
Daleen has a wealth of broad community support and engagement experience. Daleen is a Family Member Representative with the Lee County Public Safety Council, serving in this capacity for the last 15 years. She is a Founding Board Member of the Lee County Homeless Coalition, serving for over 11 years, and was awarded the first-ever “Dean Blietz Memorial Award” for Excellence in Community Service by the Homeless Coalition. She is a Board member of CASL – Community Assisted & Supportive Living.
Daleen served six years as a Board member for NAMI Lee County and was the previous Co-Chair of the C20 Substance Abuse & Mental Health Consortium. Daleen currently attends meetings with CFBHN Regional Council, Lee County Re-Entry, CoC Board, and Centerstone Board Meetings. Daleen is a NAMI Lee County Family-to-Family Facilitator, NAMI Lee County Family Support Group Facilitator, and NAMI Lee County Provider Training Facilitator. Last, but not least, Daleen has been a successful Florida Licensed Realtor for the last 27 years.
Richard Ulrich
Local Attorney,
Dick Ulrich is a local attorney practicing law in Sarasota for almost 36 years. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and the University of Akron School of Law. Dick has two daughters and a Granddaughter.
Charley Richards, former Sarasota County Commissioner and founder of Community Affordable & Supported Living inspired Dick and countless others, and Dick was honored to join the Board when asked by Richards. It was Richards who taught Dick the importance of giving back to our community. Supporting CASL and its mission is the most gratifying way Dick believes he can accomplish this goal.
