Cook (Full-Time) – Sarasota

Part of a team to prepare, cook, serve, and clean up three meals a day and snacks at our Assisted Living Facility.  This position is about more than preparing meals. The Cook interacts with residents throughout the day and plays an important role in their daily dining experience. The ideal candidate will take pride in preparing quality meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and treating residents with kindness, patience, and respect.The kitchen operates 7 days a week, so rotating weekends is required. Starting rate of pay is $20.00 per hour.

Requires: 18+ years old and at least one year experience working in a restaurant or institutional dietary setting.

 Prefers: culinary training or degree, ServSafe certification, experience working with people with mental health diagnoses, high school diploma or equivalency.

Gulf Coast Regional Manager (Lee & Collier Counties)

This is a full-time exempt position starting with an annual salary of $60,000 that is responsible for the provision and coordination of case management and life skills services to clients. Supervises a team of professional staff. Responsible for the oversight of the case management team in Lee and Collier counties. Responsible for training including for new team leads, case managers, changes to policies and procedures, and in problem areas for all case managers. Will assist clients in making choices for the full and appropriate use of available services through the use of consultation, service linkage, advocacy and information about community, county, state, and federal resources. Represents CASL to partner organizations and through various meetings and community events. Will monitor adherence to regulations and the accurate and prompt completion of all reporting, billing, and other required paperwork. Requires: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college, three years full-time experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues, one year supervisory experience, and driver license with the ability to become and remain under company vehicle insurance.

 Property Mangement Director – Sarasota

We are seeking a strong leader to take charge of designing and implementing the separation of the property management department into its own division. This is a full-time exempt position with a starting annual salary at $95,000. Responsible for the administrative portion of CASL properties, many of which have restrictions regarding target tenants and income restrictions from grants and funding, including HUD-COC, HOME, SHP, CDGB, SAIL, and LIHTC. Ensure funding, contract, program, and grant requirements are met for each residence and/or project. This position is to make decisions, lead, and direct but also step in when needed to ensure day-to-day tasks are complete. Responsible for designing and implementing the proper strategic direction of the property management division with big picture thinking but knowledge of the details. Provide team development through empowerment and delegation.

Requires: At least three (3) years of experience in a property management or income verification position, in-depth knowledge of relevant housing regulations and requirements, at least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory and leadership role, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and driver license with ability to become and remain under company vehicle insurance. 

Prefers: Experience with LURA, SAIL, ELI, and CDBG, and working with individuals with mental health diagnoses and/or homeless history.

Accounts Payable Clerk – Sarasota

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance team. In this role, you will handle rent-roll processing, deposit recording, cash management, grant fund reconciliations, vendor payments, and audit support.

Requires: Two years accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related finance role, proficiency in accouting software, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pefers: Bachelor degree, expereince in a non-profit, affordable housing, or government-funded environment and experience with property management or tennant billing software.

Case Manager – Sarasota

The Case Manager provides linkage for clients in gaining access to needed financial and insurance benefits, employment, medical, mental health, and substance use services, socialization, education, and other services. Case Managers assess functional abilities and needs and work with the client to develop and implement the service plan, including follow-up to determine the status of services and the effectiveness related to enhancing the recipient’s inclusion in the community.  Accurate documentation and billing of services is essential.
