Case Manager

Sarasota, Fort Myers, Naples, North Port

The case manager provides linkage for clients in gaining access to needed financial and insurance benefits, employment, medical, mental health, and substance use services, socialization, education, and other services. Case Managers assess functional abilities and needs and work with the client to develop and implement the service plan, including follow-up to determine the status of services and the effectiveness related to enhancing the recipient’s inclusion in the community. Accurate documentation and billing of services is essential.

CASL is preparing to open a new Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) in Fort Myers specializing in providing short-term mental health residential services. The following position(s) are in regards to this Residential Treatment Facility.

 

Resident Care (Full Time and Part Time)

Fort Myers

A resident care job involves providing compassionate and professional care to individuals residing in our new residential treatment facility. The Primary responsibilities of a resident care worker include assisting with medication, personal care tasks, communicating with doctor’s offices, providing transportation, and general oversight for our residents. Strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for this role. Resident care workers play a crucial role in promoting the well-being and quality of life for our residents.

Requires: a high school diploma or equivalency and experience working with adults with mental health or substance use.

Kitchen Manager

Fort Myers

This position is for our new residential treatment facility.  The Kitchen Manager will need to establish, implement, and oversee the dietary operations to comply with state regulation and licensure standards. Responsible for menu preparation and food ordering. Responsible for the prep, cooking, serving, and clean up of three meals a day and snacks.

Requires: a high school diploma or equivalency and at least four years’ experience in a restaurant or institutional dietary setting. Prefers culinary training or Serve Safe Manager Certification.

Cook (Part Time)

Fort Myers

This position is for our new residential treatment facility.  The Cook is part of the team to provide three nutritious meals a day. Responsible for the prep, cooking, serving, and clean up. Requires: at least one year experience in a restaurant or institutional dietary setting.

Prefers: a high school diploma or equivalency, culinary training, and Serve Safe Certification.

Supportive Housing Specialist

Naples

The supportive housing specialist provides support services to the clients in tandem with the Case Manager, with a focus on transportation needs. In this position, the specialist does many of the same duties as the Case Manager with some exceptions.

Requires: a high school diploma or equivalency. Prefers experience working with adults with mental health diagnoses.

 

Leasing Specialist

Fort Myers

The Leasing Specialist assists in administration of and compliance of leases and income certifications. The Leasing Specialist will meet with clients to request, receive, and assist to obtain back up documentation, complete data entry, tenant income certification, leases, maintenance requests, and file and document management. Will be responsible for delivering notices of rent increases, non-renewal, 15-day, 7-day, and 3-day notices, and evictions.

Requires: a high school diploma or equivalency and experience working with leases or income certification.
